We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our finance operations with day-to-day accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of basic accounting processes. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoice management, and expense entry.
Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Record daily financial transactions in accounting software. -
Ensure all entries follow proper accounting standards.
Bank & Account Reconciliation

Perform regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.

Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Reconcile supplier and customer statements when needed.
Invoicing & Accounts Receivable

Prepare and issue customer invoices.

Track outstanding invoices and follow up on payments.

Ensure all invoice data is accurate and recorded correctly.
Expenses & Accounts Payable

Enter supplier bills and expense claims.

Match receipts and verify documentation.

Prepare payment runs and monitor due dates.
General Support
Assist the finance team with month-end tasks.
Maintain organised financial filing systems (digital and physical).
Support ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping or junior accounting experience.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
