Digital Strategist

Role overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Strategist to lead the development and execution of our digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a visionary thinker with a deep understanding of the digital landscape, responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our target audience, and drive measurable business growth. This role requires a blend of analytical and creative skills to navigate the ever-evolving digital ecosystem and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client goals, KPIs, market dynamics, and competitive positioning to inform strategy.
  • Lead client meetings, confidently presenting strategies and performance data for channels such as paid search (Google Ads), paid social (Facebook, TikTok), and analytics.
  • Establish and manage a clear reporting cadence, including regular updates and conclusive end-of-campaign analyses.
  • Guide the internal Digital Analyst team, managing project workflows to ensure timely, high-quality campaign execution.
  • Serve as a primary strategic consultant, applying an expert mindset to all client projects.
  • Conduct hands-on review and optimisation of paid media campaigns to ensure peak performance.
  • Utilise an in-depth knowledge of digital media buying, campaign management practices, and all relevant marketing technologies.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in a digital marketing or digital strategist role.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools, social media management software, and email marketing platforms
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans that drive business results.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
